Tuesday September 23: Sprint

Today was the last effective day of practice for me before an upcoming taekwondo competition in LA. The team is going to the Jimmy Kim Invitational to get experience. Personally, I’m very nervous because it will be only my second time competing as a black belt and I want to do a good job. I found out today that I am one of maybe three people who are going to compete in forms and sparring; nobody else wants to adapt to the new rules so they opted out. Weirdly enough, I went the opposite direction - the rule changes prompted me to compete so that I could see what they’re like.

Workout 1: Cardio workout (1 hr)
Workout 2: TKD practice (8-1030P)
